Accounting for e-Residency companies in Estonia
You built the company through e-Residency and you run it from another country. We handle the Estonian side of that arrangement - correctly, and without asking you to fly in.
From €45/month · Fully remote - no visit to Estonia needed
a starting point, not a quote - the written offer confirms your price
Who this is for
- Freelancers and consultants operating through an Estonian OÜ
- Founders of remote software and digital-product companies
- Digital nomads with no fixed tax residence
- Non-EU founders using Estonia as an EU base
An e-Residency OÜ is an ordinary Estonian company. It carries the same accounting obligation, the same declaration deadlines and the same annual report as a company owned by someone living in Tallinn. What differs is everything around it: where you are tax resident, where the company is effectively managed, whether a permanent establishment arises abroad, which country may tax your board fee, and how EU VAT applies when your customers are spread across several member states.
That is the part generic bookkeeping misses. We work with founders outside Estonia every day and set the company up so the routine work is cheap and the cross-border questions are answered before they become a problem.
What is included
Full monthly bookkeeping
Bank and payment-processor reconciliation, invoices, expense categorisation and monthly reporting.
VAT registration and returns
We assess whether and when you must register, handle the application, and file KMD monthly thereafter.
Annual report filing
Prepared in Estonian, in the format the Commercial Register requires, and filed before the 30 June deadline.
Board member fee and salary structuring
A clear view of how your board fee and dividends are taxed between Estonia and your country of residence.
Permanent establishment review
An honest assessment of whether your activity abroad creates a taxable presence there. It is the single most expensive mistake e-residents make.
Dividend planning

How it works
Your email and a sentence about what you need is enough to start. The questions below it are optional, and answering them only means my first reply already has a price in it.
Short intake form
Tell us where you live, what the company does, and roughly what it turns over.
Structure review call
We flag the cross-border issues that apply to you specifically - residency, permanent establishment, VAT registration triggers.
Onboarding
e-Tax Board access, document flow, and a fixed monthly fee.
Ongoing compliance
Monthly declarations, yearly report, and a straight answer whenever you are about to do something new.
Frequently asked questions
Does an e-Residency company pay 0% tax?
Not exactly. Estonia does not tax retained corporate profit, so profit reinvested in the business is untaxed. When profit is distributed as a dividend it is taxed at 22/78 of the net amount. That is a deferral, not an exemption.
Do I have to visit Estonia?
No. Everything we do - onboarding, declarations, the annual report - works remotely with your e-Residency card or through an authorisation in the e-Tax Board.
Will my home country still tax me?
Possibly. Your personal tax residence, and where the company is actually managed from, both matter. We tell you plainly where the risk sits rather than pretending Estonia solves it.
Can you help if the company already has problems?
Yes. Late reports, missed VAT registration and unfiled declarations are all fixable. The earlier you start, the cheaper it is.
